STUDY WITH A PERMIT

Canada issues study permits to foreign nationals that allows them to study at one of the country’s designated institutions. The study permit is not a visa, so students may need a visitor visa or an electronic travel authorization (eTA) to enter the country. But, with approved study permits, the government also issues these documents if they are needed.

Before you start the application process, you’ll need to research Canadian post-secondary institutions to determine the right options for the studies you are interested in. We can help you put your top schools in order of preference and submit applications to them.

Some of our clients are accepted by multiple schools and this is where we can help explain different communities, regions and provinces/territories. By understanding your dream Canadian study experience, we’ll help you determine which school is the best choice.

In order to apply for your study permit, you’ll need your letter of acceptance (this comes after you have accepted one of the schools that has offered you a spot). There are a number of other requirements like submitting medical exam results and a criminal and background record check which we can assist with.

It is important to note that you won’t be sent a study permit. This document is presented to you when you show your travel visa or electronic travel authorization upon arriving in Canada.

We know all of this can be overwhelming, so reach out to us for help.
